This music piece was generated from EMF radiation data of my own room, using open-source data sonification software.
In search for the hidden materiality of the “invisible” digital network, and Inspired by Jefferey Scone’s “Haunted
Media" (2000), where I see EMF waves as the “ghost”, or traces of digital communication machine that has hidden tactile influence on human. The sonification of such EMF data is therefore a gesture seeking physical presence in digital communication.
