"Square dancing" is a popular exercise of mass group dancing in squares and plazas for middle aged or retired woman in China cities.Most of them were raised from culture revolution era. The simple and repetitive moves and easy participation brings popularity to the dance.
The associate project with new who art museum is about daily life around the local area, where artist for the first time learn the most popular square dance song "small apple". As a documentation of the dance moves, VR software and tracking of hand movements are turned into 3D sculpture.
